Abstract

The use of modern technology has become essential; therefore, a fully integrated electronic system has been developed to manage graduation projects at the Faculty of Education, Alasmarya Islamic University. The primary objective is to provide services that simplify the selection process for students by offering project proposals, thereby enhancing communication between team members (students and supervisors) and facilitating task distribution among them. The project management system features a comprehensive archive of both current and past graduation projects. It also addresses the challenges of the existing manual system, such as topic duplication, difficulties in communicating with supervisors, and a lack of new proposals, which often result in a significant waste of students’ time and effort when submitting initial proposals for departmental approval. The study raises key questions regarding the system’s effectiveness in solving these issues, particularly in preventing topic repetition and optimizing students’ time and effort. The primary motivation was to develop a system that fosters a productive and efficient working environment within the platform. Given the significance of this research, great attention was devoted to designing a technological system that supports students by streamlining topic selection and improving communication with supervisors. The research team responsible for the system has achieved increased transparency and efficiency in managing graduation projects through user-friendly interfaces and a task management dashboard that facilitates seamless interaction among team members. One of the most significant outcomes of this study is the ability to document graduation projects without relying on external programs, thanks to an integrated free-text editor within the platform.
