Abstract

Mathematical logic is a fundamental pillar of computer science and artificial intelligence, providing the theoretical framework for understanding computational processes, building algorithms, and designing intelligent software. This paper aims to highlight the practical role of mathematical logic in developing intelligent systems, focusing on its application within the MATLAB environment, a platform that combines mathematical modeling and computational analysis. The study also examines the relationship between traditional logic and fuzzy logic in knowledge representation and decision-making in artificial intelligence systems and explains how mathematical logic has improved the performance of intelligent systems by supporting inference, control, and analysis. The paper concluded that the integration of mathematical logic and application software represents a promising path in building more accurate and flexible systems that combine symbolic thinking with high computational power.
